Privacy notice
KaiGuardian runs kaiguardian.org to help families recognise and avoid scams. This notice explains, in plain English, what information we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
We only collect your email address, and only if you type it into the free-guides form. We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies on this site.
How your email is handled
- When you submit the form, your email is sent to Web3Forms, a form-processing service, which forwards it to KaiGuardian by email. See the Web3Forms privacy policy.
- We use it to record that you requested the guides, and we may send you occasional KaiGuardian scam-alert emails.
- We do not sell or share your email with anyone else.
- We keep it until you ask us to remove it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop emailing you, at any time. Contact: kaichencyber@gmail.com
Other services this site uses
- Hosting: the site is hosted on GitHub Pages, with domain name services from Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, they may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) to run and protect the service.
- Videos: video thumbnails load from YouTube’s image server. A video player only loads when you click a video, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
- Breach ticker and case files: your browser fetches public breach and security-advisory data from Have I Been Pwned and GitHub.
- Background film: the opening film may load from a content delivery network (Amazon CloudFront).
- Links to other sites: links to YouTube, government agencies, the Kai Check training app and the CyberKid game take you to sites with their own privacy policies.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date above.
